Trainings, Presentations, Consulting

VUE Co-Director Philip Yenawine with educators at Centro Atlántico de Arte Moderno, Canary Islands, Spain, 2005

VUE offers on-site trainings and presentations for museum staff, docents, university faculty and students, professional associations and others.

Training sessions can range from one day to a week depending on the needs of the group. Ideally, the group will be fairly homogeneous (all docents, or museum educators, graduate students etc.) so that specific concerns can be thoroughly addressed. A complete training workshop occurs in a minimum of 3 full days. One to two day sessions are considered introductory. Trainings can accomodate up to 35 participants.

Presentations: VUE staff members can also present VTS and VUE's research in the context of public lectures, college courses, conferences, panel discussions, etc.

Rates: The cost to hire a VUE trainer is $800 per work day plus $325 per travel day and any travel related expenses. VUE staff trainers' resumes and references are available upon request.

VUE Co-Directors, Philip Yenawine, and Abigail Housen may be available for: presentations and lectures; consultations on specific education, research, and curatorial programs and projects; and specialized trainings. Rates available upon request.
